You can help survivors of Domestic Violence to have an enjoyable Holiday Season this year.
Thank you for your interest in Transitions Family Violence Services Adopt-a-Family program. As you know, the holidays can be a particularly challenging time for families who struggle with domestic violence. Last year Adopt-a-Family donors brought joy and hope to families on the Peninsula.
Transitions’ provides shelter, counseling, advocacy and support services to thousands of people each year. The Adopt-a-Family program serves to match donors with clients that are in need of some holiday cheer. Donors receive a holiday needs/wish list from the clients and we ask that you deliver the unwrapped gifts to the Transitions office.
Enclosed is a Sponsor Registration Form which gives us more information about you so that we can best pair you with a family or individual. If you decide that you would like to participate, please fill out the form and fax or email a copy labeled Adopt-a-Family Coordinator. After we receive your registration form, we will send you the information about your partner family.
Client/Donor matching will begin on October 17, 2016. We ask that you deliver your donations on the following dates:
Thanksgiving food baskets……….………..November 07-10, 2016
Christmas food baskets/gifts ….……………December 05-09, 2016
This will ensure we are able to deliver the food baskets and gifts to the families in a timely manner. For more information, please feel free to contact Regina, Adopt-A-Family Coordinator, at 728-0025 ext: 509 or email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Below you will find documents you can download that will provide you with information on how you can help this year.
